Doug Steele's Page Is Complete

Doug's Smart Access authors page is now pretty well complete with 25 Access articles setup at http://www.vb123.com/kb/Doug_Steele.htm. Topics include list and combo boxes, dsn's, message boxes, lots of date handling articles. Most important are the names that he choose for the articles like "These are a few of my favourite things", "Excelling automatically" and "I've Got Plenty of Nothing, and Did Someone Say Holiday"

Some Welcome Rain

Just 3 days after I sent out my Xmas cards with a picture of my Brother-In-Laws very dry farm, rain swept in from a cyclone and many areas of NSW and Queensland suffering years of drought are rejoicing in the perfect Xmas present. I saw one place where the big river was dry for 2 years and it rose to a depth of 4 metres in a few hours.

The next version of Access is going to feature Web hosting features and to help with this will be the Web Compatibility helper.  It even has it own product manager.  Read more on the web compatibility tester
